Description: Join us for an introductory, hands-on workshop exploring the fundamentals of traditional leathercraft. The session will begin with a brief overview of the history of leather and an introduction to essential trade tools. Participants will then guide their own creative project, constructing a custom leather keychain pick holder personalized with stamped initials or imagery.
Attendees will gain experience using specialized equipment, including stamps, setters, anvils, hammers, needles, thread, and professional dyes or stains.
Requirements & Recommendations: * Age Limit: Open to adults and children ages 8 and up.
- Experience & Attire: No prior leatherworking experience or specialized attire is required.
- Materials: All necessary tools and materials are provided.
- Please Bring: Participants are encouraged to bring personal drinking water and a pair of properly fitted, disposable latex gloves for handling dyes.
