Community Outreach Events

The Lovegrass Music Festival Association is a non-profit organization that aims to promote the bluegrass arts in our rural Kansas communities, enhancing the quality of life for all. Our mission extends beyond this as we strive to provide shared cultural experiences and partnerships to make a significant economic impact on our local communities and beyond. We achieve this by hosting year-round music events in our region, culminating in an annual three-day festival on the second weekend in August at the beautiful Lake Wilson State Park.

We host bimonthly jams in Hays - follow us on Facebook or Instagram for updates.

In May 2024 we launched the Lovegrass Concert Series with support from Hays businesses to bring live music to Downtown locations. We want to thank Cold Stone Creamery, TreeTop Security, Hays CVB, Wal-Mart of Hays, AutoWorld, Lamato's Pizza and Defiance Brewing Co for sponsoring these events for 2025 - look out for the 2026 event calendar, coming soon!
