COMMUNITY PARTNERS

Join us in a TRUE grassroots effort that brings Lovegrass Music Festival to life each year

PARTNERS & OUTREACH

The Lovegrass Music Festival Association is a non-profit organization that aims to promote the bluegrass arts in our rural Kansas communities, enhancing the quality of life for all. Our mission extends beyond this as we strive to provide shared cultural experiences and partnerships to make a significant economic impact on our local communities and beyond. We achieve this by hosting year-round music events in our region, culminating in an annual three-day festival on the second weekend in August at the beautiful Lake Wilson State Park.

PARTNERSHIPS, OUTREACH & COMMUNITY EVENTS

We have proudly partnered with the Midland Railroad Hotel in Wilson, KS for various monthly music events, creating a "Lovegrass Experience" concert series at their beautiful venue including a historic hotel and renovated rustic chic barn.  With support from the Wilson Tourism Hub, and collaboration with Lovegrass Music Festival, The Midland launched it's own1st annual Rural Roots Bluegrass Winterfest held the last weekend in January!

We are also proud to host outreach activities at the Midland Barn during our summer festival, featuring workshops on August 10th.  A Bluegrass Brunch Buffett is available for purchase, however you must reserve your tickets ahead of time (available very soon!)

Make sure to follow the Midland Railroad Hotel on Facebook as well as their website for event details, typically held once a month.

We are also proud to partner with Defiance Brewing Co of Hays for a bimonthly Lovegrass Acoustic Jam Night at their Taproom on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month.  We also host an annual fundraiser, Lovegrass on Tap, in April at the taproom.

In May 2024 we are launching another partnership with Hays businesses to bring live music to Downtown Hays locations for outdoor summer concerts!  We want to thank Cold Stone Creamery and TreeTop Security for sponsoring our first event, and the Fort Tavern and Patio Bar for sponsoring the August event.

Would your organization or business like to partner to host your own Lovegrass Experience outreach event, Lovegrass fundraiser, workshop or concert series?  Contact us today for more details!
